I am a graduate student in Beth Mitcham’s lab studying postharvest pomology. I graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s in Bioenvironmental Science and Soil and Crop Science. My research investigates lipid oxidation in walnuts and aims to increase postharvest quality and extend shelf life. I am also working on a project with the Horticulture Innovation Lab on value addition for smallholder farmers with oranges and mangoes in Uganda.
