I am a master’s student working on almond rootstock breeding with Malli Aradhya (USDA-ARS) and Tom Gradziel in the Horticulture and Agronomy Graduate Group.  I graduated from Whitman College in 2012 with a B.A. in Geology-Chemistry and have worked with vegetables and tree crops in various settings since graduating.  I am currently researching root-ability and disease resistance in wild almond and peach species in the National Clonal Germplasm Repository (USDA-ARS) collection and their hybrids to determine sources and heritability of these traits.
