
Allyson completed a M.S. in Horticulture and Agronomy at UC Davis in 2016, her B.S. in Plant Biology from UC Davis in 2012, and worked as a field botanist and a curatorial assistant for the UC Davis Center for Plant Diversity. She is interested in public horticulture, curatorial science, and collections management of gardens, herbaria and living germplasm. Allyson is the recipient of the Garden Club of America & American Public Garden Association Hope Goddard Iselin Fellowship in Public Horticulture, which supported her curatorial study of the Mary Wattis Brown Garden of California Native Plants at the UC Davis Arboretum. She is passionate about outreach and education and hope to help connect current topics in science to the public and our schools, and currently works at UC Berkeley.
