My research program aims to provide insights into fundamental mechanisms that that control the behavior of biological systems in the context of a changing environment. Nowadays, we are particularly focused on the soil-root interface and the biophysics that govern the behavior of complex porous materials subjected to different stressors such as drought, salt and mechanical deformation. Also, I enjoy painting, ultra running and playing chess.
