My name is Jadran, and I am a PhD candidate in the Horticulture and Agronomy graduate group at UC Davis. Working for more than five years in the Cantu Lab has provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with a fantastic group of researchers on various topics related to grapevine trunk pathogens genomics and grapevine genomics.

My PhD project aims to understand the evolutionary and ecological trends of grapevine trunk pathogens and explore how this information might be used to reduce disease incidence in vineyards of Califronia.
