I am trying to improve propagation procedures for lignified cuttings of grape rootstocks (especially interspecific hybrids with a Muscadine parent). My research focuses on three variables: (1) time of year cuttings are collected, (2) carbohydrates present in cuttings, and (3) degree-day dosage necessary to induce rooting.
