Position Title
Patrick H Brown
Plant Sciences
I am a master's candidate in the P.H. Brown Lab. My MS research was focused on investigating the effects of Nitrogen and Potassium fertigation frequency on almond tree growth and development. This work has provided valuable insights into how the timing of irrigation and nutrient delivery influences plant physiology, nitrogen management, and overall tree health.
My future research interests center on advancing sustainable agricultural practices, particularly for high-demand crops. I aim to develop data-driven models that optimize water and nutrient use efficiency to improve crop productivity while minimizing environmental impact. By integrating agronomic, environmental, and physiological data, I hope to contribute to the development of precision management systems that promote resilient, resource-efficient, and sustainable cropping systems.
