I am a Plant Biotechnology Engineer, Chilean. I have worked in genetic improvement of oats and in responses to environmental stress in quinoa. Currently I am working at Dr. Eduardo Blumwald's Lab, mainly researching water stress tolerance strategies in peanuts (Arachis hypogaea) and also working with Brachypodium sylvaticum as a model plant to study perennial crops.
